Happy Anniversary Brad and Lisa Lane!

This past weekend, something very special happened.  Not only was it a great Easter celebration, but some of our clients that are near and dear to my heart celebrated their one year anniversary!  Due to the weekend holiday and travel to see family, I wasn't exactly on top of blogging about this last week, but I wanted to make sure that Lisa and Brad were celebrated!

Lisa and Brad are such an amazing couple.  Much like Katie and Lawson (who celebrated their one year last weekend), they are just so in love.  Lisa is one of my dearest friends, so of course it was such an honor to be a part of planning their wedding.  Lisa and Brad had a long journey to marriage, as they dated for many years before tying the knot.  I have enjoyed watching their love grow over the years, and now that they are married, I get to see that love continue to grow!  The Lane's are so fun to be around, and they enjoy many adventurous activities together.  In fact, they celebrated their anniversary by going skydiving!!   Best part?  Lisa's parents joined in on the fun too! 

Needless to say, their wedding was a blast!  The ceremony took place at Belmont Abbey in the chapel. The couple actually met at Belmont Abbey, and Brad went to school there.   Then they celebrated with a reception at Birkdale Golf Club.  The reception was a great party to say the least.  Brad supplied some unbelievable lifetime memories with the garter removal, he was hilarious!

Happy Anniversary Katie and Lawson!

OK, so we have been a bit slack on the blogging lately, but it's been for great reasons involving our amazing clients!  After all, it is that time of year.  What better way to jump back into blogging than celebrating an anniversary?!

This Sunday, April 17th marks the one year anniversary of our dear clients Lawson and Katie Dayton.  From the moment I met Katie, I was captivated by her sweet and genuine personality.  Lawson was just the same, easy going and so happy to be marrying his girl.  It was so evident that these two were very much in love, and they were bursting at the seams to tie the knot!  Our planning dream team included Katie and her mom Linda,  and we had such a great time along the way.  Now Katie and Lawson have moved down to Florida to build their lives together, and have been having a great time!  I just love to see the little love notes they leave for each other on Facebook, it's so wonderful to see people so in love :)

I sure do miss working with this fun group!  Katie's dad was a character, I still get tickled thinking about his mermaid suspenders he flaunted at the wedding.  The reception at the Big Chill was a blast, great times were had by all.  The dance floor stayed full, which is always a sign of a great celebration.  And as always, the end is bittersweet for us, because we got to be part of another celebration of love, but it also means that our time together has come to an end.
